Christopher Thorpe
MA (Aberdeen), PhD (Aberdeen)
I graduated with an MA (Hons.) and PhD in Sociology from the University of Aberdeen in July 2003 and April 2008 respectively. Both prior to this and throughout my undergraduate years, I lived and worked in northern Italy during which time I undertook a fair bit of travel around the peninsula. One day I shall return to live in Italy, preferably in the north so that I can once more revel in the ‘Lydian laughter’ of Tennyson’s Lake Garda.
